— Refilling Tips：
1. Be sure that no visible flame or kindling when filling and keep unimpeded air around.
2. Hold the lighter with the FILL VALVE up, Invert gas canister and insert the gas canister tip into the FILL VALVE, Push the gas canister and lighter together to allow gas to flow into the lighter gas tank. Push it 3-5 times and each time shall last for 5-8 seconds.
3. After refilling butane, wait at least 2 minutes before igniting.
4. Allow sufficient time for lighter to cool to room temperature before refilling the lighter with fuel.

Doesn’t fire every time and goes out when tilted sideway.

Bought to light sparklers at a wedding.. were so impressive they got nicked afterwards

Fuel gauge difficult to read not easy to fill up -
This looks better than it works. I have lots of lighters for lighting canles, incense sticks and BBQ’s. So I have plenty to compare too.
I have another jet style lighter which works perfectly but is not as nice looking as this one.
This lighter simply seems to take up to 4 attempts to get it lit every use, which I find annoying.
If I had to use it every day I would have probably returned it, especially for the price. But I don’t and can therefore put up with it.
Everything else is great, once lit it works well and doesn’t go out until the trigger is released. It feels good and of good quality. It was easy to fill directly from a can (no adaptor required).
If it lit first time, every time it would be a 5 star product, but it doesn’t.
So would I recommend or buy again, well simply no to both. I would try another lighter and pass this one by. -

This saved us during basic training. Trying to light dragon fuel to heat up our ration packs in pouring rain and gale force winds with matches and normal lighters was laughable. Everyone was asking to borrow this bad boy. Really great bit of kit.

These lighters are BIG and POWERFUL. Some jet lighters aren’t the best, inconsistent burn, blow themselves out, fail to ignite. Not these, love this lighter
